GET TO KNOW OUR ACTIVITIES!   1) Volunteering at the Houston Food Bank (Quarterly Sunday at year).  This activity reinforces team building while work together for a noble cause.  Your time is a gift to hungry kids, seniors and others who may not have enough to eat.  We started volunteering as a group since 2016.     Click here to watch a video from one of our days volunteering there!: Video: Counting on you!               2) We have a Blessing Box outside West Houston SDA Church.  (Parking lot at 2390 West Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77043) "Take what you need - Bring what you can - Above all be blessed" Neighbors on need feel welcome and free to come to take what they need without the process of entering the Church and ask for help inside.  Members can participate by putting their offerings inside it on Sabbaths or other days.      4) We do every year a Christmas Baskets event to help families in areas on need since 2014.  (Date and place to be determined soon!) This is an opportunity for everybody can feel the joy of bring a smile to those going through pain, economic struggles, or lose of faith, because we will be bringing them not just basic groceries but a message of hope from God. And this is just the beginning of many ideas that we can create for volunteering activities for West Houston.  We will be looking for new venues and missions to attract different people to get engaged and stand up from the Church's pews and to motivate them do something else to start feeling West as their home Church.     Click here to watch our Christmas Baskets video from December 2019!  Click here to watch our Christmas Baskets video from December 2018!          5) Praise with Joy.  (Next event date to be confirmed) This is YOUR turn to be part of the Praise Team! Let our Father God use you and all others who will be singing well known Contemporary Christian songs... and be blessed!
